About the role

Our users are not at a desk with time to explore. A cashier has seconds, a pharmacist has a customer waiting, a manager wants one number. Good design here is measured in how few taps it takes and how rarely somebody has to ask.

What you will do

  • Design flows for complex, multi user business workflows.
  • Work inside our design system and improve it rather than working around it.
  • Test designs with real users, including on a phone in a shop.
  • Hold the line on accessibility, contrast and keyboard use.
  • Hand over designs engineers can build without guessing.

What we are looking for

  • Three or more years designing software, with a portfolio of shipped work.
  • Strong Figma, and comfortable maintaining a component library.
  • You have designed for people using software as part of a job, not a hobby.
  • You understand contrast ratios and why they are not negotiable.

Nice to have

  • You have designed for point of sale, logistics or another operational tool.
  • You can prototype in code well enough to prove an interaction.
