About the role
When a till will not open, the person contacting us is not having a good morning. Support here is judged on how quickly somebody is trading again, and on whether they felt taken seriously while they waited.
What you will do
- Handle support requests across chat, email and phone.
- Reproduce and diagnose issues before escalating them.
- Write the answer up so the next person does not have to ask.
- Work with engineering on anything that keeps coming back.
What we are looking for
- Two or more years in technical support for a software product.
- You can read a log, follow a stack trace and ask a good question.
- Calm and clear in writing when the person on the other end is not.
- Willing to cover a weekend rotation, shared fairly across the team.
Nice to have
- You know your way around SQL.
- You have supported point of sale or retail hardware.
