About the role
Subscription revenue, lifetime licences and a managed service each behave differently, and mixing them up produces a very reassuring and entirely wrong picture. This role keeps the picture accurate.
What you will do
- Build and maintain the financial model, including the subscription metrics.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and the monthly view of how we did.
- Analyse pricing, margin and customer economics.
- Support planning with numbers rather than opinions.
What we are looking for
- Two or more years in financial analysis, planning or a similar role.
- Strong modelling. You have built one from a blank sheet.
- You understand recurring revenue metrics and why they are not the same as cash.
- Precise, and comfortable saying when a number cannot be trusted yet.
Nice to have
- Software as a service finance experience.
- A professional accounting qualification, or progress towards one.
